Carlotta Sallach

I am a PhD student, specializing in International Relations at Central European University (CEU) in Vienna. In my research, I look at gendered narratives around political and mass violence and interrogate their reproduction in various setting from a critical feminist perspective.

Prior to starting my PhD, I completed an LLM in Public International Law and an MA in Conflict Studies and Human Rights at Utrecht University and worked as a research consultant and advisor for project management and communications at the Heinrich Böll Foundation e.V., the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP e.V.) and the Counter Extremism Project (CEP) Germany.
