CEU's Political Science, Public Policy and International Relations programs were declared to be the 29th best in the world according to the QS World University Rankings. The newly published ranking is another important indicator recognizing the high academic quality of our Master's and PhD programs in the field.
CEU earned the best rankings in its history in the latest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) subject ranking, published on April 29. CEU's programs related to politics and international studies jumped to 29th in the world, and 7th in Europe. The University's programs in history, law and economics were listed for the first time, and CEU's sociology and philosophy programs retained or improved on their rankings.
In the subject of politics and international studies, represented at CEU by the Department of Political Science, the Department of International Relations, and the Department of Public Policy, CEU ranked 29th. This is an advance from its placement in the 51-100 group in 2014. CEU ranks ahead of such institutions as King's College London, University College London, and the University of Warwick in this subject.
