My research deals with various facets of communication and cooperation in development projects. My dissertation thus explores the interaction of the actors involved in Twinning projects in the EU's neighbourhood. It analyses how communicative and cooperative processes shape the outcomes of such projects. I further undertook research in related subjects as human development and administrative governance or World Bank capacity development. In addition to my academic work I have been a consultant at the ILO since 2009. Among others I have been involved in studies regarding informal employment or collective bargaining in Central- and Eastern Europe.
