"Making Effective Presentations: Essential Techniques for Lectures, Conferences, and Job Talks." - Academic Practice Workshop
A series of workshops focusing on academic practice that will take place throughout the academic year. The workshops will cover a wide range of issues, from teaching opportunities (and where to look for them), to publication strategies, from the search for grants during and after a PhD, to discussions concerning the job search and the hiring process.
The first 60 minutes of the workshop will explore the topics indicated below. The format consists of a discussion and Q&As.
