We proudly announce that one of the fresh graduates of the doctoral program - Vujo Ilić - is the recipient of the Best Dissertation Award for the Academic Year 2019/20!
Title of his dissertation: Cousins in Arms: Social Structure and Civil War Mobilization in Montenegro.
CEU Best Dissertation Award is intended to recognize important scholarly contributions by graduate students. Dissertations from any discipline that are based on significant original research, raise thought-provoking questions in the field, and open up new perspectives are recognized through this award. The University Doctoral Committee especially rewards imaginative research that takes an innovative approach in terms of the sources, the methodology and/or the research questions.
