PhD student in Comparative Politics, minor in Social Science Methodology, with principal interests in ethnic conflicts, political violence, civil wars, and research methodology. My doctoral dissertation is a micro historical comparative analysis of the civil war in Yugoslavia during the Second World War, and it examines the connection between social order and patterns of conflict and violence, before, during, and in the immediate aftermath of the war. In the 2016/17 school year I will be co-chairing the Conflict and Security Research Group.
